Geraldton Greenough Sunshine Festival Float Parade

Midwest Surf School will be entering a float in the annual Geraldton Greenough Sunshine Festival Parade this Sunday. The theme is “Sky High” and Midwest Surf School will display our “Intergalatic Surf Safari Bus” through the streets of Geraldton. Be prepared to recieve space candy and discounted surf lesson vouchers. Look forward to seeing you there.

SURF INTO SPRING LEARN TO SURF PROMOTION

After an amazing winter here in the Midwest, it is time again to dust off that old wetsuit (or have Midwest Surf School provide you with one) and get back to that commitment of learning how to stand up on a surfboard.

Doesn’t matter your age or experience, Midwest Surf School will provide all that you need to know to be paddling into some great waves for summer.

Starting 5th of September (other dates available)

Board, wetsuit and 1.5hrs of qualified instruction provided each lesson.

Cost: $60 for the first lesson OR $120 for three lessons.

Media Release Midwest Surf School has an energetic learn to surf school holiday program for beginner and intermediate participants commencing from Easter Monday at Back Beach. Midwest Surf School owner and operator Keith Roffman has been running enthusiastic school holiday surfing programs for around three years in Geraldton. “Its great to see kids, teens and adults participate in surfing because not only do they get a vigorous workout, the thrill of surfing leaves them hooked to continue long term with this fun sport,” he said. Mr Roffman has been surfing for 19 years but his passion for surf instruction started when he travelled overseas completing mission work with Christian Surfers and coached in a number of places all around the world including Bali, Mexico and Costa Rica. “I came back from my overseas travel and knew I needed to start a surf school in Geraldton. I gained my level one surf instructor qualification and since then there has been no looking back. I just love the response from people when they stand up for the first time, it’s as exhilarating for me as it is for them.” Midwest Surf School have a special 25% off rate for the school holiday’s that anybody can benefit from. A once off lesson is $45 or a series of three lessons is $90. Soft surfboards, wetsuit and 1.5 hours of instruction are included with every lesson. Midwest Surf School are providing the oportunity for Everyone to Learn or Improve their Surfing by attending their April School Holiday Learn 2 Surf 25% Off Special.

From the 13 to the 23 of April, learn to surf classes will be held at Back Beach, Geraldton. A once off lesson will cost $45 and a series of 3 lessons $90 (usually $60 and $120)

Geraldton Surf Lifesaving championships, Western Australia – January 25

Today saw Gero Surf Lifesaving hold there annual carnival at Geraldton’s Back Beach in Western Australia.

Even though the conditions were a tad choppie and wind didn’t hold off there were still some awesome times recorded.

Lets hope the wind drops but the swell holds up for the Australia day holiday so we can all follow the carnival up with a good days surf

Regional School Surfing Titles
